Sarah Hecker-Moore has been photographing since high school, when she discovered how much she loved this medium. Sarah, like Casey, is also a Colorado native. Sarah has been drawn to taking photographs of her beautiful surroundings, wherever she may be. Sarah loves capturing the unguarded truth in people, places, and moments in time.
Casey’s thoughts ”What an Artist is to me” - Being an artist is to be consistently viewing the world as an opportunity to capture abstract moments. An artist is one that always thinks outside the box and isn't afraid to be different. A great artist’s work has the ability to evoke in a person a deliberate feeling that is strong enough to tell a story without words. Great art enthralls you and pulls you in to it; it can captivate your mind and stay with you for a lifetime. A true artist has a deep connection with creativity that carries over into their day-to-day life and their views of the world. A connection with culture and travel is entrenched in their veins. The availability to diversify and change is very important; artists are always open to change. Change of scenery and rituals are welcomed. Artists thrive in odd and mysterious places, where others may only see the tarnished and torn features, an artist sees all the imperfections that make it perfect. A great artist is able to capture the beauty that someone else may have never realized before.
